Greenview Environmental has been refining organic material since 1985. Today we’re the largest private organics refinement business in the UK. Our technology currently processes in excess of 240,000 tonnes of organic material per year - we load it, compost it and transform it into highly marketable products. We have new sites due on stream shortly (each processing between 50,000 - 100,000 tonnes), while our ability to deliver pragmatic composting solutions speaks for itself.
Greenview builds and manages in-vessel composting and windrow sites as joint ventures or through lease agreements with the site owner, local council or waste organisation. We refine mass volume organic material with capacity for peak period surges. Our technology is robust, easy to operate and the lowest cost composting refinement process available. It is also the fastest - we produce prime quality compost in about six weeks. This is achieved by expediting the refinement process, firstly with economical particle pulverisation, secondly by sanitising material at 70°C to remove pathogens and thirdly, by using our innovative negative aeration system which draws air through the compost, expelling it via bio-filters. By keeping the material aerated, the process minimises odour while the need for costly material turning is removed.
Greenview’s in vessel aeration systems (IVAS) process the largest range of organic material of any IVC system - clean green, meat excluded food, meat included food and category 3 waste. We process kitchen kerbside, sludges, wood chip, abattoir by-products, hatchery waste, feathers, food processing waste and out-of-date supermarket waste.
Greenview sites are fully traceable operations and are ABPR approved. As a company of good principle, we work closely with the Environment Agency and have initiated local liaison groups on all sites with regular meetings to monitor site performance and ensure we track and respond to any odour issues. We treat local complaints seriously and investigate them rigourously.
Greenview are good people to do business with. With City backing, we’re financially sound and able to assist with finance; we’re also practical, helpful and easy to work with.
