Greenview Environmental, the name behind County Mulch and Greenview Systems, has strengthened its senior team with the appointment of four highly experienced specialists.

The Bury St Edmunds firm is one of the UK's leading independent organic recycling companies, specialising in the manufacture of high-quality compost and mulches that play a valuable role as soil improvers for farmland and gardens.

Daniel Sage has joined from St Edmundsbury Borough Council, where he worked for seven years, most recently as Strategy and Policy Manager including two years on the Executive of the Local Authority Recycling Advisory Committee (LARAC). With extensive experience in organic waste collection and disposal, Daniel has an in-depth understanding of the challenges facing local authorities as they strive to meet their recycling targets.

Nigel Steward joins as Operations Director, following 18 years experience working for Viridor Waste Management as General Operations Manager overseeing landfills, transfer stations and composting facilities in and around Suffolk and Essex. Nigel's role will be to ensure that the most rigorous and effective quality management systems are implemented across all company sites.

Stephen Hall joins as Projects Director, a key role in which he will oversee the design and build of all Greenview composting plants. Previously Chief Operations Officer at Suffolk company Poundfield Products, Stephen has a wealth of project management experience, including 20 years at Lignacite, most recently as Commercial Director.

Client Delivery Manager Peter Marshall has over 14 years experience working within large waste management companies. Prior to this appointment, Peter was Regional Customer Services Manager with the Veolia Environmental Group where his remit was to deliver and maintain the highest standards of service to customers within the waste sector.

John Jardine, CEO and founder of Greenview, said, “We are delighted to have attracted people that bring so much additional knowledge and experience to our team. Our new recruits have the industry expertise and skills we need to continually drive up quality standards and ensure that our growth is sustainable and well managed.”

Greenview has almost 25 years experience in the organic recycling sector and currently treats over a quarter of a million tonnes per year. The company has developed a unique range of processes that offer local authorities a proven, low-cost solution for organic waste treatment.
